Girl On Girl Action

Yowza!(Athens, Greece)  Misty May and Kerri Walsh won the Olympic gold medal in women's beach volleyball defeating China in the second match with a stunning 21-11 victory.  "We'd like to thank our sponsor, Frederick's Of Hollywood, who helped design the costumes," said Misty May after coming up for air. "I'm glad I switched teams," said partner Kerri Walsh with a wink. "Beach volley ball players have more fun," she said.  "A lot more."

"This has been the most exciting action in the Olympics ever," said International Olympic Committee member Bob Guccione Junior.  "The match wasn't too bad, either."

Beach volleyball became a recognized Olympic event in 1993 and has helped increase the popularity of Olympic games on television.  With additional pressure from network sponsors, the IOC is considering creating new events in Beijing in 2008.  "Getting the young male viewers is critical," Guccione said.  "I think by then we'll have Olympic Greco Roman mud wrestling and pole dancing approved," he said.

May and Walsh are expected to release a video "Olympic Athletes Gone Wild" later this year.
